Jessica Terry is an IT Business Analyst for Chevron Supply and Trading. As a Certified ScrumMaster and Six Sigma Green Belt, she leads several initiatives for teams to become more agile, streamlined, and efficient. She currently serves as the Houston Area Liaison for the Chevron Black Employee Network and is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc and the Society of Women Engineers. She is a recipient of a Master of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, the Valedictorian of Bennett College for Women c/o 2010 as well as a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. She is looking forward to serving as the 2017- 2018 President and executing her plan to increase Profits, Partnerships, and People.
LeChell Honorat serves as the 2017-2018 NSBE Houston Professionals Vice Chair. LeChell is from Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, with a B.S. in Civil Engineering in May of 2013. In June 2013, she received her Engineering in Training Certification. She relocated to Houston from Fairfax, Virginia with her husband and daughter to follow her career with ExxonMobil. LeChell has served NSBE since 2012 in many leaderships roles including the 2017-2018 Region V Professional Executive Board Pre-Collegiate Initiative. She is looking forward to an exciting year for the Houston Professionals Boards.
Rashad first joined NSBE while a sophomore at Prairie View A&M University. At PVAMU, he worked as an editor for the campus newspaper, joined NAACP, and became a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. After earning his Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering Technology, he sought further education at the University of Houston, obtaining Technology Project Management certification.
Rashad is currently a Technical Supervisor at The Reynolds Company, where he has worked 8 years. With a long history of giving back, Rashad also serves as a mentor with Boys Rites of Passage, which has been nationally recognized by President Obama’s ‘My Brother’s Keeper’ initiative. In his new role as Programs Chair, Rashad looks forward to the continued success and growth of NSBE Houston Professionals.
Joey is the 2017-2018 Treasurer for NSBE Houston Professionals. He attended Texas A&M on a track scholarship where he received All-American honors, his B.S. in Civil Engineering, and his Masters in Public Administration. He works as a Project Engineer in the Municipal Department at Cobb, Fendley & Associates, Inc. Joey is originally from Japan (shoutout to the military brats) but calls San Antonio his hometown! He is a dedicated gamer, manga reader, gearhead and jazz and hip-hop connoisseur. He’s currently involved with the APWA, TFMA, Canstruction and AIA Sand Castle. Most importantly, he’s thankful to NSBE to create a space to give back to the community.
Eric is the 2017 - 2018 Secretary for the NSBE Houston Professionals. Originally from Houston, Texas, he attended the University of Oklahoma where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering in December of 2009. In 2010, he began working as a Deepwater Drilling Engineer for BP in the Gulf of Mexico. He has worked various roles both onshore and offshore throughout his time with BP. He is a member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Incorporated. Eric enjoys BBQ’ing and cycling in the BP MS150 every year.
