LeChell Honorat is the President for NSBE Houston Professionals and manages all aspects of the chapters’ direction, including its leadership, goals, and objectives for the year.
LeChell is a certified Engineer In Training who holds a Bachelor’s degree from Southern University and A&M College at Baton Rouge.
LeChell works in the Oil & Gas Industry having spent five years at ExxonMobil and now serves as a Cost & Schedule Engineer where she is responsible for estimating costs & developing schedules for projects in the Research & Engineering Department.
LeChell goal this year as vice chair is to fill the gap and build bridges by extending the NSBE brand within and around the community, diversifying membership and working with a programs zone provide members and the community.
LeChell has been a member of NSBE for six years and what makes NSBE great to her, is the family, the opportunity to service the community and to provide minority students with the representation needed to encourage them to pursue careers in STEM.
In her spare time LeChell enjoys photography, poetry and anime.
Patrick Guide is the Vice Chair for NSBE Houston Professionals and manages the membership zone which she coordinates the recruitment & retention of our members. He obtained a Mechanical Engineering Technology degree from the University of Houston.
Patrick works in the design and consulting industry as well as in the United States Marine Corps Reserves, having spent 3 years as a Combat Engineer Officer before transitioning to the role of engineering permit manager where he manages the required permits for a City of Houston Capital Project expanding the city’s water purification infrastructure.
Patrick’s goal this year as Corporate Relations Chair is to increase the number of corporate partnerships, strengthen the relationships with the chapter’s existing sponsors, and to raise $100k.
Patrick has been a member of NSBE for 6 years and what makes NSBE great to him is the genuine family environment the organization fosters as well as the numerous opportunities for personal and professional growth.
In his spare time, Patrick enjoys reading, woodwork, and is an avid chess player.
Mikaela Dulan is the Programs Chair for NSBE Houston Professionals and manages all aspects of the Program Zone, including Professional Development, College Initiatives and Pre-College Initiatives.
Mikaela earned a BS. in Electrical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University and has worked for Chevron as a Facilities Engineer for 4 years. She started her career as a Subsea Electrical Engineer at Chevron and is now a Facilities Engineer. In her current role she’s responsible for establishing onshore and offshore assets’ process control systems and developing their data analysis capabilities.
Mikaela’s goal this year as Professional Development Co-Chair is to empower members to become valuable assets to their organizations and industries, expand their professional network, as well as reach new heights in their personal development journeys. She plans to accomplish this by hosting events that share strategies for improving work performance, strengthening professional brands, navigating the corporate world, and overcoming career challenges.
Mikaela has been a member of NSBE for 8 years and what makes NSBE great to her is its familial culture clothed in black excellence that provides an ‘iron sharpens iron’ experience for professionals that enables them to live their best life!
In her spare time, Mikaela enjoys brunch, comedy, traveling, movies, and trying new things.
Joey Roberts is the Treasurer for NSBE Houston Professionals and manages the Finance Zone including (but not limited to): “balancing the books,” fundraising, 501(c)(3) IRS obligations and QC on all of NSBE HP’s contracts.
Joey is a certified floodplain manager who holds a Bachelors in Civil Engineering and a Masters in Public Administration from Texas A&M University.
Joey works in the public works and fiber optic industries, having spent 4 years at Cobb, Fendley & Associates, Inc. as a Project Engineer where he provided various derivatives of public works consulting and subsurface utility engineering.
Joey’s goal this year as Treasurer is to raise $100,000 for the chapter, be a good team player and meet his or NSBE HP’s deadlines (whichever is more stringent).
Joey has been a member of NSBE for 3 years and what makes NSBE great to him is producing future black engineers who will hopefully have less information gaps than he did.
In his spare time, Joey leads his company’s Construction effort and is also the design lead for its Sand Castle and July 4th Parade Float competitions. He’s also very invested in spending quality time with his wife, Yunina.
Ledora Stribling is the Secretary for NSBE Houston Professionals and manages the Communications Zone, which is responsible for developing, directing, coordinating, and monitoring all communications and public relations.
Ledora is certified in Project Management & a Six Sigma Green Belt who holds a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Technology Management & Applied Engineering degree from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. She also holds a Masters of Professional Studies in Supply Chain Management from Penn State University.
Ledora works in the global digital industrial industry, having spent 8 years at GE. She is currently a Senior Commodity Manager in GE Global Operations. Ledora owns the global sourcing strategy and corporate initiatives for the following commodities: Test and Measure Equipment, Lab Supplies, Scrap and Industrial Gases. She is also an adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff where she teaches Supply Chain Management courses.
Ledora’s goal this year as secretary is to be the one stop communication shop for NSBE HP and be more active in the professional social media platforms (i.e. job postings, events, articles).Ledora has been a member of NSBE for+10 years and what makes NSBE great to her are the people.
In her spare time, Ledora enjoys traveling, volunteering and mentoring.
