Member of the Month: Stanley L. Kazibwe

Globally astute and geographically mobile Business Development / Strategy & Supply Chain Professional within the global energy industry. Demonstrated ability in building and effectively managing vital business /supplier relationships. Professional experiences in successfully executing within various functions involved in a globally integrated supply chain (Procurement, Project Expediting, etc.), to deliver value. Strong public communication, interpersonal and team leadership skills. Currently learning Spanish and fluent in Luganda. Ability to effectively adapt to diverse and dynamic environments; has lived on, studied in and visited seven countries and four continents. Started school in USA, completed High School in Uganda, Africa, and graduated from university in USA. He enjoys playing / watching sports, analyzing the global economy and foreign travel. Always seeking to constantly add value for Bechtel.

Stanley previously worked with Bechtel and the Atlantic LNG, BP and various supplier partner senior project management teams, to ensure the various phases of material procurement and delivery on Atlantic LNG Inc. of Trinidad and Tobago’s Upgrades Projects (2013 – 2016) / BP-TROC (GE Compressor package) were executed on schedule, under budget and to the highest safety / quality standards.

Stanley joined Bechtel in 2011, and served as a Market Analyst in the Functional Procurement Group in the Houston office of Bechtel’s Oil, Gas and Chemicals GBU. In this role, Stanley Researched and analyzed global economic, geopolitical and industry trends and data, in order develop metrics, cost comparisons, supplier insights and strategically relevant information for OG&C Functional Procurement Group

Before joining Bechtel, he worked as a Sales and Marketing Development Coordinator with Black & Decker / DeWalt (now Stanley -Black & Decker), in Tampa, Florida.

Stanley holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business Management from Texas Southern University (December 2005) and he also holds a Master’s in Business Administration – International Business and Energy Management from Rice University Jones Graduate School of Business (May 2011), both in Houston, Texas.

 

Stanley has deep interests in global business/emerging market supply chain strategy, especially within the global energy industry. Stanley possesses deep knowledge of conducting macroeconomic research within the globally dynamic energy industry /supply chain and skilled in relationship management, project coordination and sales.
